Bonda is an easy evening snack made of gram flour, which is almost found in all road side shops. This can be prepared in 10-15 mins. Apt for rainy days or as an evening snack which can be had with a hot cup of coffee/tea. Here I am going to show the simple and instant onion bonda.
Generally, bonda in shops would be in the proper round shape. But you can see in my pic it is not round in shape. The reason is I add less rice flour. As I have added less rice flour, bonda would be very crispy from outside, soft and airy inside. As it is crispier and soft you can have as many as you like. My hubby likes this way of making. If you want round shaped bonda, add extra rice flour to the batter. But you will be able to have one or two only. You will feel like it’s getting choked in your throat. Do not skip the ginger, it gives a nice taste to the bonda. Serve with coconut chutney or any sauce of your choice. Now let us see how to prepare this recipe.
