Vendaya Keerai Masiyal is nothing but mashed Fenugreek leaves with dal. Fenugreek is rich sources of protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins, iron and several other dietary minerals. We are going to prepare this recipe using a pressure cooker. Always wash the keerai first and then cut. If you cut first and then if you wash the keerai all the nutrients will be lost. Using the same method you can add any greens like paruppu keerai, ara keerai, siru keerai or palak instead of vendaya keerai.
